This Week's Wisdom at a Glance
OUR FREEDOM: BUILT, PROTECTED, PASSED ON
Wisdom for Life
Tomorrow, America celebrates its 250th birthday.
That is a remarkable sentence to write.
For 250 years, generations of Americans have worked, sacrificed, served, built businesses, raised families, defended freedoms, and left things a little better than they found them.
As we gather with family and friends this Fourth of July, I think it is worth pausing to appreciate just how fortunate we are.
The freedoms we enjoy today did not appear by accident.
They were earned through the courage, sacrifice, and service of countless men and women who came before us.

Freedom is not free.
So before the fireworks begin and the grills are fired up, I want to extend a sincere thank you to all those who have served our country, and to the families who have sacrificed alongside them. Their service has helped make possible the opportunities that so many of us enjoy every day.
As a financial advisor, I am naturally optimistic about the future. One of the reasons is that I get to witness what happens when people are given the freedom to dream, build, save, invest, create, and pursue meaningful goals.
America has never been perfect.
But for 250 years, generation after generation has continued moving forward, solving problems, creating opportunities, and building a brighter future than the one they inherited.
That is something worth celebrating.
As you spend time with family and friends this weekend, I hope you enjoy the cookouts, the fireworks, and the traditions that make this holiday special.
Most importantly, I hope you take a moment to reflect on how fortunate we are to live in this country and to appreciate those who helped preserve the freedoms we often take for granted.
Happy Birthday, America.
Here's to the next 250 years.

Enjoy your weekend,
