Jordan Richert, CPA

Jordan Richert believes that navigating the complexities of tax shouldn't be done alone — and is committed to serving as a trusted advisor to individuals and businesses. As a CPA and Tax Advisor at O’Connor Financial Group, he works with clients to provide relationship-driven tax services that maximize tax efficiency within the context of our clients’ overall financial goals.
Jordan has a breadth of accounting and finance experience, having previously worked as a Financial Analyst for a Fortune 100 company as well as Director of Finance for his local church. He also previously founded a Financial Coaching business focused on helping others reach their personal financial goals. Throughout his professional life, his desire is to help others – individuals, businesses, or organizations – gain clarity in pursuit of their financial goals.
He joined O’Connor Financial Group in 2026 to further our commitment to helping clients navigate their complete financial picture.
Jordan earned his B.S. in Accounting from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. Originally from Wheaton, he now lives in Champaign, Illinois with his wife Christine and their four daughters – Joanna, Adalyn, Eloise, and Linnea. He loves being a ‘girl dad’ and enjoys the tea parties, bracelet-making, and princess dresses that come with it.
When he’s not working with clients, Jordan likes to stay active with running, coaching the girls’ soccer teams, and family bike rides.
